ALEXIS FIRE EQUIPMENT CO. was recently awarded a publicly solicited contract made available through the Florida Sheriffs Association. FSA Cooperative Purchasing Program offers statewide purchasing contracts on a variety of vehicles, equipment and services available to all eligible agencies.

Do you have to be in that state to utilize the program?
Although most agencies utilizing this program are within the state of Florida, eligible agencies from other states may also use the contracts if their governing purchases ordinance allows.

Alexis, IL:  Alexis Certified Dealers met at Alexis Fire Equipment in Alexis, Illinois, from September 24-26 for the Annual AFE Dealer Conference. The 3-day long conference held from Sunday to Tuesday welcomed the network of dealers from different parts of the country including Apparatus Plus, Apollo Fire Equipment Company, Countryside Truck Service, Emergency Apparatus, Jones Fire Equipment Sales and Service, LaFRANCE Equipment, Lakes Region Fire Apparatus, MJR Equipment.

The goal of the event was to provide education to the AFE Dealers regarding the Alexis product line, facility expansion, services and technology. The meeting included a detailed breakdown of various apparatus features, presentations by all departments from electrical and manufacturing to marketing, a plant tour with equipment demonstrations showcasing the company’s capabilities, as well as an introduction to the new website and online merchandise store.
